Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire in Montreal's West Island is a small, quiet town. The people who aren't familiar with this term tend to think it's a separate island somewhere in the west of Montreal however, this part of West Island is home to every aspect of Lachine west to the city of Lachine west. Amanda Brugel grew up on the island and is commonly known as the place where she was born. It is true that she resided there for a very short duration. Brugel became a woman of a certain age in Courtice Ontario, just outside Oshawa. In her early years she wanted to be the next big thing in her career, but a sudden growth spurt made it impossible. In an article published by The Toronto Star that she is 6'1" tall and wears heels. Once I was bigger than my male counterpart, I stopped. Bruce was among the former dancers who shifted into acting. Her teacher from high school encouraged her into the right direction. The teacher suggested she try to get a role for school's annual production. The teacher who suggested that she pursue a part the annual school production. The Fine Arts Talent Scholarship led her to York University, where she studied Theatre and received the Bachelors in Fine Arts in the year 2000. Over the last 20 years, Brugel's work has been seen on both the large and small screen. She gained the most recognition when she landed her part as Rita in the award-winning television show The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel is the sole Canadian on the season 1 cast of the show and seen only occasionally, was the sole Canadian.
